My principles help guide my decisions. They are the bedrock to both what makes me and how I think about the world.

great curiosity that leads me to continuous learning and involvement in all different areas.

be good, have fun.

  • Servant Leader

I want to know what you need, and what challenges you are facing so that I can help mitigate whatever issue is in front of us. I ensure that you are growing in all areas — your profession, knowledge, autonomy and even health.

  • Trust

I trust you. I have spent my entire career in positions of increasing levels of trust and take it very seriously. You will not be punished for risk-taking, speaking truth to power, and being creative. In fact, I encourage it. I expect to hear the bad with the good so that we (as a team) can all learn. I expect to share this news quickly.

  • Composure

I handle pressure and bad news well. I tend to remain composed even when provoked or facing deadlines and heavy external pressure. I am perceived as confident and self-assured, however this can come across as non-listening. I assure you I listen to everything.

  • Decisions

I typically have no problem making decisions and involve others in doing so. I want everyone's input, but once we make a decision we, collectively, are then committed to doing so.

  • Be nice, have fun.

Success relies not just on the ends, but also the means. We need to share in successes, respect each other, and do the right thing…always.

  • Unafraid of Failure & Curious

I am unafraid of failure and tend to push the limits. Others in the organization may not have my tolerance for risk. I mitigate this by surrounding myself with diligent and dutiful experts to help balance decision making. If I’m way out in left field, please feel free to reel me back in.

  • Family

I am happiest when surrounded by the people I love. Family is a core value for me, and all of my long term goals involve setting focused and deliberate time with them each day.

  • Imaginative

I can change directions quickly, work without explicit guidelines, and anticipate future trends. I work well in ambiguous and undefined spaces and provide a clear voice that can see through these clouds.
